Qadri owns the workshop in Kashmir. His family has been making the finest cashmere in the world for over five generations. He is awesome.

Aside from paying living wages to all of the artisans Qadri works with, each product ordered covers the cost of ten delicious meals for people in Srinagar who are struggling to make ends meet.

Qadri shawls must be dry cleaned or delicately handwashed and laid flat to dry. We recommend dry cleaning primarily as handwashing requires delicate soap.

All of our cashmere is handspun and handwoven. The fur measures on average 13.5 microns which is among the finest quality pashmina in the world.

All of our cashmere is sourced from the changra goat, mostly from the Ladakh region of northern India. We work with only the highest quality product.
